Dr Abhijeet Kadam is a consultant Physician and Geriatrician at Lifeline Superspeciality Hospital ,Pandharpur and heads the department of speciality medicine and ICU. He obtained MD from Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Sevagram, Wardha. A gold medalist during his Undergraduate and Postgraduate phases of education, he has made in the field of research as well.

With an experience of working in rural areas for 5 years, he is well acquainted with the sentiments and attitude of patients and stresses on Ethical and Evidence based medicine

A scholar in Geriatric medicine, he acquired the speciality from Nagpur open university, preached only at selected areas in the country and carries the attitude of empathy towards his patients.

At Lifeline Hospital, Dr Abhijeet runs a 30 bedded ICU, manages all kinds of emergencies and is a certified ACLS care provider under the authorization of American Heart association.

In addition to MD General medicine,he holds many certificate courses in diabetes and cardiovascular diseases and runs a full fledged Diabetes Clinic at Lifeline, one of its kind in Pandharpur.

His general interest includes diabetes, chest diseases, medical ethics and emergency care.

Lifeline hospital has successfully managed around 700 plus critical COVID patients under Dr Abhijeet and his team and sent home 98 percent of them, thereby setting an example of state of art services in rural areas like Pandharpur.

Despite managing a chunk of critical patients, Lifeline hospital headed by Dr. Sanjay Deshmukh has managed to keep the death rate about half the nation's average thereby playing a Lion’s share in serving the country actively in these trying times.
